@jordanszoke • @cdnsuperbike •@BMWMotorrad •Munich-(December 12, 2016)- A dominant undefeated season on the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship circuit was enough for Jordan Szoke (Lynden, ON) to claim the globally-contested and highly prestigious BMW Motorrad Race Trophy.

At an awards ceremony in Munich, Germany, Szoke was presented with the award and a cheque for 20,000 Euros (approximately $27, 800 Canadian) for the best performance out of 127 racers from 27 different championship classes on six continents.

Szoke not only won all seven CSBK races this year, he also took top qualifying honours at every race. The 2016 Canadian Superbike championship was the 11th for the 37-year-old veteran.

“To be the winner of the BMW Motorrad Race Trophy really means a lot to me,” said Szoke. “Last year I stood here on the stage as runner-up, and it is just a fantastic feeling to now have secured first place. It makes me very proud to successfully represent Canada in this unique worldwide competition. The Race Trophy helps to bring international awareness to our series and also shows how good the racing is in Canada.”
