Finn Motorsports Team Update

@FinnMotorsports • (Bushell Park, Saskatchewan, Canada) So far this season, the Finn Motorsports team has travelled over 4,000 km to compete at racing events in Chilliwack, BC and Strathmore, AB.  For Finn Motorsports riders Jonathan & Matthew Finn, their 2015 has started where they left off  last season with the same amount of enthusiasm and success competing against the best riders from across western Canada and northwest USA.

Matthew Finn (9 yrs old), a 2013 Canadian Motorcycle Association (CMA) National Mini Roadracing Champion, continued his presence on the track with strong starts and consistency in his riding by finishing with two second place finishes.  “I alway race for first place but I am happy with my performace so far this season.  I want to end this season with a championship before moving up to larger motorcycles.” said Matthew.

Finn Motorsports senior rider, Jonathan Finn (11 yrs old), was also able to find a good pace at the begining of the season.  A successful start to the Pacific Coast regional and Alberta regional championships, Jonathan earned 9 podium finishes including 5 race wins.  “I have really had to work on my endurance for this season.  Riding 4 different motorcycles I am sometimes racing up to 12 races in a day and often 4-6 races back to back!  I feel confident that I will continue to develop and learn to be up front, but to also strive to reach my goal of racing grand prix motorcycles around the world,” said Jonathan.

With the 2015 racing season underway the Finn Motorsports team continues to prepare for their busiest season yet.  Competing in the Pacific Coast, Western Canadian and Alberta regional championships as well as the CMA national championships the team will travel over 10,000km this season competing across western Canada.  The team’s next race is the opening round of the CMA national series opener 12-13 June at 3 Flags Motorsports Park northeast of Regina.
