What a season. From Toronto to Calgary, Vancouver to Winnipeg, each stop had its own energy, its own standout moments, and its own incredible community showing up to celebrate moto storytelling with us. Here’s a small recap of the magic before we roll into the new year.
Toronto
Toronto kicked off the 2025 season with a weekend that felt electric. The Paradise Theatre was buzzing from the moment doors opened with a mix of glitz, energy, and fun that set the tone for the weekend. With so many filmmakers joining us this year, the stories shared on stage (and in the lobby between screenings) added a whole new layer to the experience. And The Big Scoot!? The room was in stitches.

Calgary
Calgary…you always deliver. Another sold-out night, huge laughs, big reactions, an incredible turnout from the VJMC, and, of course, that unmistakable Calgary warmth. Plus, we loved shining a spotlight on a local Calgary filmmaker and his short doc about your fav local shop, and our hosts, Ill-Fated Kustoms.

Vancouver
Vancouver came in hot. The main floor filled quickly, then the balcony, and the energy never dipped. A highlight: handing Daniel Stark and Jason Hamborg their Best Canadian Film Award on stage — plus a surprise appearance from the 2024 NORRA winner that nobody saw coming.
Winnipeg
Our very first TMFF Winnipeg exceeded every hope we had. The crowd brought warmth, curiosity, and a genuine enthusiasm that made the entire night feel like we’d known each other for years. The conversations after the screenings said it all: this city is ready for more moto stories on the big screen, and we’re absolutely coming back.
