@jordanszoke • #atatrials • Saturday Sept 10th 2016 With the road racing season wrapped up and another championship tucked safely on the shelf, 11 time Canadian Superbike Champion Jordan Szoke changes gears to one of his other favorite motorcycle disciplines Observed Trials.
Rounds 2 and 3 of the ATA Trials organization was hosted at one of our most beautiful landscapes nestled in the Muskoka Region of Sparrow Lake ON Canada. Hosted by Dave and Joyce Butler the two day event is always one of the most liked events of the season.
Despite the precipitation in the morning Szoke started off the two day event strong with a 26 point loop putting him in the lead for the weekend.
“I rode really well today. I am really clicking with my new Sherco factory trials bike from DualSport Plus. The changes they have made to the motorcycle really suits my style.” says Szoke.
Day two boasted sunny skies and dry sections with a few minor changes to a few of the 8 sections in their 4 lap required loop. Szoke finished under the required time with a score of 18 to claim the win for the weekend event.
“I really like it here.” Says Szoke “I always have, grippy rock with large splatters and challenging terrain always brings out the best in me. The harder the obstacles the better I ride. Definitely one of my favorites.”
Fall is trials season and you can catch Szoke next weekend competing in the Horseshoe Valley Smart Trial Saturday Sept 17th.
