Falmouth, N.S. road racer Austin Shaw-O’Leary has revealed that he will continue to ride for GoLo Racing and Dua Motorsports in 2013.
In a Facebook posting announcing the deal, Shaw-O’Leary said he will compete in the Canadian National championship and Atlantic Roadracing League regional series aboard Yamaha YZF-R6 motorcycles. His plans also include the possibility of some U.S. events.
Shaw-O’Leary was one of the stars of the 2012 Amateur national championships and swept to both the Bazzaz Amateur Superbike and Inside Motorcycles Amateur Sport Bike race wins at his home track of Atlantic Motorsport Park, despite injuring his knee in a race morning fall. Unfortunately, the knee injury took him out of action for the remainder of the season.
“I can’t wait to get the 2013 season started and I’m super excited to be back on board with GoLo and Dua,” Shaw-O’Leary said on Facebook.
