Ride Encanta, (www.rideencanta.com) a new motorcycle tour operator based in northern Chile, has officially launched, offering small-group guided motorcycle tours that take riders beyond the obvious path.
Northern Chile is a rider’s dream—a land of vast deserts; twisting roads through canyons and mountain passes; and breathtaking coastal highways. From the solitude of the Atacama Desert to the high-altitude Andean passes and the salt-laced air of the Pacific, the region delivers an unmatched two-wheeled adventure.
Navigating this remote landscape alone is no easy feat. Sparse infrastructure, extreme remoteness can be challenging. Ride Encanta eliminates these obstacles, and also bridges the cultural and language barriers with local expertise and a passion for exploration. Our goal is to provide a seamless and unforgettable riding adventure that also explores the best geographic, historical, cultural and culinary experiences that the region has to offer.
Tour Highlights Include:
• Desert Highways & Open Roads – Carve your way through one of the driest places on Earth.
• Andean Mountain Passes – Ride twisting canyon roads to snow-capped peaks, volcanoes, and salt flats.
• Spectacular Coastline – Follow Chile’s legendary Route 1 with endless ocean views.
• World-Class Stargazing – Experience the clearest night skies on the planet.
• Chilean Culture & Cuisine – Savor fresh seafood, traditional empanadas, and warm local hospitality.
Founded by a Canadian with more 30 years of riding experience—including 19 years training riders of all skill levels as a motorcycle instructor —Ride Encanta was born from a deep love of the region’s landscapes, culture, and adventure. The team also includes a locally born Chief Guide, a lifelong rider and skilled bilingual storyteller who brings Northern Chile’s history and traditions, and culture to life.
Tours are capped at six riders to ensure a personal, flexible, and safe experience. These smaller groups allow for a tailored pace, better access to remote routes, and a closer connection with the land, people, and each other.
Tour dates are now available for 2026.
