In what the company is referring to as its “Largest-ever Product Development Project” Harley-Davidson has merged its Dyna and Softail lineups into a single all-new Softail lineup for 2018.
Featuring eight models, the 2018 Softail lineup is powered by the new counterbalanced Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine with a Milwaukee-Eight 114 as an available option on four of the models. Each model has been redesigned to ensure that they are unique and distinct from their predecessors. The eight all-new Softail models include lighter more rigid carbon steel frames that retain the classic hardtail look as well as upgraded suspension built around high-performance dual-bending valve front suspension and a hidden rear monoshock. Every model in the 2018 Softail lineup will come standard with new technology features including keyless ignition and security system, LED headlamps and new instrumentation.
