Finn Motorsports Successful During West Coast Swing

@FinnMotorsports • Bushell Park, SK —August 5, 2015 — Finn Motorsports riders Jonathan and Matthew Finn continue to find success during their 2015 racing season as they headed west to compete in the Western Canadian Mini–Roadracing Championship (WCMC) in Quesnel & Chilliwack, BC the past two weeks.

Jonathan arrived at the first two rounds of the WCMC at Cariboo Raceway Park in Quesnel, BC with the goal of consistency and to challenge for the top spot in each of his races.  With the threat of rain throughout the weekend, Jonathan took advantage and capitalized on the opportunity to gain an early points lead in the series, earning eight podium finishes including two wins during the two-day event.

Greg Moore Raceway in Chilliwack, BC hosted the final two rounds of the WCMC series the following weekend. With strong momentum from the first two rounds, Jonathan continued his push to remain at the front and earned six more podiums including two wins, securing two Western Canadian Mini–Roadracing Championships and finished runner-up in threeadditional classes.

Matthew also found success during the Western Canadian Mini-Roadracing Championship series.  Competing in his last year in the Youth class, Matthew was constantly at the front challenging for the lead. His ability to get the holeshot almost every race helped Matthew earn four podiums, including one race win, giving him enough points to finish as the Youth runner-up inthe 2015 Western Canadian Mini-Roadracing Championship.
