@harleydavidson • @harleycanada • CONCORD, ON, April 30, 2015 /CNW/ – Deeley Harley-Davidson® Canada announced today that an agreement has been signed with Harley-Davidson Motor Company, which will transition distribution of products to the new subsidiary, Harley-Davidson Canada, on or about August 4, 2015.
On February 25, 2015, Harley-Davidson announced that it was planning to align its Canadian business model with its strategy in the rest of the world, and that the Company would transition to a model of direct distribution to independently owned dealers in Canada by July 31, 2017, when the Company’s current agreement with Deeley Harley-Davidson® Canada ends. Both companies were also in discussions about a possible agreement to move up the transition in Canadian operations to the third quarter of this year.
