What could be better than a remote fishing trip?

The Cree Nation of Mistissini and Mistassini Outfitting Camps have donated an all-inclusive four day fishing package for two people to the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame for their Silent Auction.

The package includes guided fishing excursions, staying in comfortable accommodations in fully equipped log cabins, transportation from Mistissini to the selected fishing camp, meals and access rights. Transportation to Mistissini is not included.

Lodging at one of their community owned outfitting camps; Osprey Lodge or Camp Louis Jolliet located in a very special untouched indigenous Cree territory. The successful bidder and guest will experience a fishing trip of a lifetime on Mistassini Lake, Quebec’s largest freshwater lake. Unparalleled fishing spots give the guests the opportunity to catch trophy-sized Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Walleye and Brook Trout.

The value of this package is $5,000

This donation is made in memory of Nathaniel Bosum who was inducted, posthumously, into the Hall of Fame on November 5, 2022. The Cree Nation are delighted to be able to donate this package as it reflects an important part of Nathaniel’s identity and commitment to protecting and promoting the traditional Cree way of life which was so important for him and which he engaged in whenever he could. He contributed not only to the sport of motocross racing but to indigenous people throughout Canada and particularly to his home community of Ouje-Bougoumou. Nathaniel was a proud member of the Cree Nation and the way he conducted himself during his motocross career, he served as an exemplary ambassador for the Cree people of James Bay in Quebec, while also becoming a respected role model for so many of the Nation’s youth.

Nathaniel Bosum was posthumously inducted into the Canadian Motorcycle Hall of Fame in November 2022.

Register and place your bid by email – Mclegends@aol.com. Bidding Closes March 31, 2023, 6PM EDT
