Motorcyclists participating in Port Dover Friday the 13th this coming Friday are in for an extra special surprise as world renowned Willie G. Davidson, Senior Vice President and Chief Styling Officer at Harley Davidson, is rumoured to be attending the event.

“Willie G”, as he is commonly referred, has been Head of Harley Davidson product development and is generally responsible for a number of Harley Davidson designs, including the popular Super Glide and Low Rider, which pioneered Harley’s custom line of motorcycles. Willie G is the son of former Harley-Davidson president William H. Davidson, and the grandson of Harley-Davidson co-founder William A. Davidson.

Port Dover has been a riding destination of choice for thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts every Friday the 13th, a tradition that has gone on since 1981, and one that is welcomed by the town’s businesses.

If you’re heading to Port Dover this Friday, be sure to bring your camera and a Sharpie, you too might get your very own Willie G. autograph!
