The VRRA is gearing up for the 2013 season of vintage and classic motorcycle racing with the first round, the Quinte TT, being held this weekend at Shannonville Motorsport Park, May 31-June 2. Admission to the Sunday’s racing action is free of charge for all spectators!
Friday’s events consist of a two-hour endurance race and a rider’s school for new members. The weekend will feature a full complement of qualifying and final races for both motorcycles and sidecars. Sunday’s events include final races with motorcycles from the 1950s to the early 90s competing on the Pro Track. Sidecar finals will also be held on Sunday. The highlight completing the day will be the new Grand Prix motorcycle racing class.
Try The Track:
Saturday, June 1st
Try the ride of your life as a racing sidecar passenger (the monkey) for $20. Participants must have full leathers (can be borrowed) gloves and suitable footwear. Racers will provide instruction.
Sunday, June 2nd
Riders with their own street bikes can register for Try the Track and ride the track for 20 minutes for $20 during lunch break periods on Saturday and Sunday. All riders must wear a helmet, gloves, boots, sturdy jacket and preferably riding pants. All bikes must be inspected and approved at VRRA Tech inspection.

Proceeds from the Try the Track and sidecar rides support Big Brothers and Big Sisters.
