Motorcycle enthusiasts heading to the International Motorcycle Supershow in Mississauga this weekend can catch team FOGI Racing and rider Ben Young at the event. For the second consecutive year “SUPERSHOW” has continued to support the Canadian Motorcycling Road Racing team at the largest motorcycling show in North America. According to Scott Young, FOGI team manager, “we are delighted with the response that was achieved at the 2011 show, now to get the chance to show the team off again is fantastic, we cannot thank the SUPERSHOW enough.”
The team will be showcasing Ben Young’s Yamaha R6 AMA Daytona Sportbike spec machine and Ben will be on hand to chat with fans and do poster signings. In addition to AMA rounds, Young will also be piloting a GP Tech Moto3 powered Yamaha in select WERA and USGPRU events in the United States, the result of a partnership between FOGI Racing and GP Tech LLC. GP Tech will have the Moto3 machine on display at the show under the FOGI Racing camp. According to GP Tech owner Geoff Maloney, “we were delighted with the feedback and fun we had with Ben Young at a race/ test weekend at the end of the 2011 season. GP Tech and Frame Crafters, the chassis builders, thought Ben would be perfect to continue to race and test the new Moto3 machine to gain interest among race clubs and riders. With GP Tech and FOGI Racing striving together to bring in up and coming kids into the sport, our new Moto3 machine is the perfect way to get kids into riding GP.”
Be sure to visit the FOGI Racing team at the North American International Motorcycle Supershow this coming January 6-8 at the International Centre.
