The 2014 running of Mods n Rockers Toronto will be bigger than ever as the event celebrates the 50th anniversary of ‘The Battle on the Beach’.

From Mods N Rockers:
August is only a few short months away and we’ve got a great event planned. Check out the detailed event listing at www.modsandrockerstoronto.com, but here are some highlights.

•    Friday August 15 – West End Kick-Off Bash at Town Moto w/ Reposado, Crafted Coffee.
•    Saturday August 16 – Pre-Ride Breakfast. This year we’ll be meeting along Macpherson Ave in the Davenport/Dupont area. We’ll have a gourmet coffee truck on-site, and from there the Crosstown Rumble ride departs.
•    Saturday August 16 – The main event at the Duke (Queen/Leslie). We’ve got some great music lined up great food, great support from our partners, and crew of “experts” who will be in hand to answer all your bike related questions.

2014 Tees & Merch
This year’s event tees are looking swanky. The enamel event pins, tees and some other cool swag will be available at the event or in advance. Mods n Rockers is a free event, all the money from merch sales goes right back into making it happen – the support from the community here is really appreciated.

Call for contemporary art submissions
We’ll be hosting a contemporary art space on Friday night this year. It’s a chance for people to see the work of some very talented community community members, and possibly put a bid in for purchase. We’re accepting submissions for contemporaryartwork that reflects the style or sensibility of the period, its members, music, or vehicles. Please send low res JPEG images (max 3) to admin@modsandrockerstoronto.com.
