Despite three-year hiatus, Duhamel Wins at Le Mans

Miguel Duhamel won the FIM e-Power & TTXGP race yesterday afternoon at Le Mans. Despite a three-year break from competition, the Canadian champion had lost nothing of his will to win as he rode the US Barracuda Lightning Racing Team's electric motorcycle on the track this afternoon.

Saturday Free Practice at Nürburgring: McCormick Sorts Set-Up

2011 Canadian Pro Superbike Brett McCormick of Saskatchewan was 23rdquickest in Saturday's Free Practice at the Nürburgring for the 12th round of the eni Superbike World Championship.  The 21 year-old Canuck, learning the famed German venue for the first time, was happy with his progress, even though his quickest lap at 1:58.7 was off his morning best of 1:58.1.

McCormick Will Start 22nd As Rea Leads Top Guns

2011 Canadian Superbike Champ Brett McCormick put his Team Effenbert Liberty Racing Ducati 1098R in 22nd grid spot in qualifying for tomorrow’s 12thround of the eni Superbike World Championship at the Nürburgring in Germany.  Continuing his learning process in his first career outing at the venue, the SBK series rookie carved another second and a half from his lap times, posting a tour at 1:58.1 sec.

Opening Practice at Nürburgring: McCormick Back on Track at the ‘ring

Brett McCormick returned to action in the eni Superbike World Championship at the Nürburgring this morning, turning the 24th fastest time in the opening practice session.  In his first serious outing in over four months, McCormick rejoined his Team Effenbert Liberty Racing squad to make his first ever outing on the twisting German venue, turning a best lap at 2:01.46.
