Shaw-O'Leary Released from Hospital

Austin Shaw-O'Leary was released from IWK Hospital in Nova Scotia yesterday evening and sent home with exercises and specific instructions not to put weight on his right knee for the timing being. The Falmouth, Nova Scotia rider, who went to the hopital on Monday following a crash in Sunday's Mopar Canadian Superbike series warm-up session, will be expected to see doctors next Monday for re-evaluation and physio therapy.

CMA Mini Roadracing National Championship Round Four - The Return to Edmonton

On July 22nd, for the first time since 2008 the AMRA returned to Edmonton's Stratotech Park to host the fourth round of the CMA Mini Roadracing National Championship presented by Parts Canada. The Edmonton track is the largest the series will visit in 2012, and the long straightaways made drafting a major factor in the outcome of several races on a day that saw multiple photo finish results.

Leon Races to Three Podium Finishes at Shannonville RACE Superseries

Montreal, Quebec- The Royal Distributing Racing Team opted for the second round of the RACE Superseries at Shannonville this past weekend, instead of the conflicting Mopar Canadian Superbike series event in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia.  The deciding factor was the long 14-hour drive necessary to get to Shubie.  The decision was worthwhile, as rider Michael Leon finished on the podium in each of his three final races.

Shaw-O'Leary Outperforms on Home Track

While most of the riders in competition at round three of the Mopar Canadian Superbike Championships in the Inside Motorcycles Amatuer Sportbike and Bazzaz Amatuer Superbike classes expected that GoLo Racing/Dua Motorports rider Austin Shaw-O'Leary would do very well on his home track, no one could anticipate the level of domination, especially given the circumstances.

Excellent Weekend For Vallee At Thunderfest

Fifteen year old Braden Vallee of Kitchener, Ontario enjoyed a strong weekend at Thunderfest flat track events in Leamington and Wheatley, July 21-22. After winning all four of his heat races in the novice class, Vallee finished second to Dave Pouliot in his four final races.
