The molecular structure of a carbon additive was changed which enabled a smooth transfer film to be promoted between pad and rotor. To bind this new material we added a Titanium compound which also increased the effective friction level.”
Finally, “all of our RDP X Titanium Road Race Pads include a High Tech Ceramic Heat Shield on the back of each brake pad. This eliminates heat transfer to the piston and ultimately to the brake fluid, preventing the brake fluid from overheating or boiling and causing brake fade. “
