BMW Motorrad Releases Latest Sales Figures

From January up to and including July 2012, BMW Motorrad supplied 69,329 motorcycles and maxi scooters to its customers. Of this figure, 10,140 vehicles fell within the month of July. The strongest individual market for BMW Motorrad by a wide margin is Germany, followed by the US, Italy, France, Brazil and the UK/Ireland.

McCormick Satisfied But Will Not Race Silverstone WSBK

Canadian Brett McCormick continued with his recovery program from previous injures, winding up 24th quickest in the opening Qualifying session for round ten of the eni Superbike World Championship at Silverstone in the United Kingdom.  Back on board his regular Liberty Racing Team Effenbert Ducati 1098R entry, McCormick waited during the early damp portion of the 45 minutes session and then got on-track for a total of 12 laps.

McCormick Clears Medical for Silverstone; Slated to ride Friday’s First Superbike Session

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan’s Brett McCormick spent Thursday, August 2 in the paddock under the grand “Wing” pit and service building at Silverstone reconnecting with his Liberty Racing-Team Effenbert Ducati squad after his recent three months of rehabilitation.  McCormick suffered hand and neck injuries at round three of the eni Superbike World Championship at Assen in the Netherlands at the end of April and has been off the grid.
