The Ruthless Racing Inc. / Trev Deeley Motorcycles-sponsored ride of Danny Eslick won its first National AMA Pro Racing Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XR1200 race last weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The weekend at Laguna Seca went well for Eslick. He found his flow right from the beginning of the weekend and carried it throughout the race, ending up on top of the box.

“I felt solid all weekend and just had no concerns so I just went for it, and it paid off,” Eslick said. “I can’t thank the Ruthless Team enough for giving me such a solid bike. To Glen and Bill Veatch, Thomas Morin and Jon Cornwell (Ohlins Suspension), thank you.”

Eslick is now leading the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XR1200 Series going into this weekend’s round at Mid Ohio.

Team owner Darren James finished ninth. He unfortunately rode a lonely race after losing the group ahead.

“I put in my fastest laps of the weekend but just didn’t get it together right off the start,” he said. “It’s tough when you can’t make up any ground on anyone so I just rode the best I could.”

James is now in 11th overall in points.

Of Eslick James said, “We are so proud of him as we know how busy he is this year. He’s been all over the map, literally, but he still is able to show up and perform. We do what we can to make it as easy for him as possible and he just rides his ass off every time. The entire team is amped up and ready to ride at Mid Ohio.”

Ruthless Racing Inc. would like to say a big thank you to Trev Deeley Motorcycles in Beautiful British Columbia, to Arai helmets, Dragon Allliance, Flexi-glass, Etnies, Twist Sport Conditioning and 2Under Undrwear (www.2undr.com). Eslick wants to add from himself a huge thanks to Speed and Strength, Shoei and Alpinestars.
