The October/November issue of Inside Motorcycles has been hitting mailboxes all week and is available now at your local Chapter, Indigo or Coles book stores!
Sure, the KTM 1190 Adventure looks like an off-road bike, and it comes from a leader in dirt-capable machines, but as Senior Editor Jason Thorpe explains, our cover bike has concrete pulsing through its veins. Ripping around the mountains near Temecula, California proved the 150-horsepower open adventure bike has serious pavement prowess. Read all about it in this issue of Inside Motorcycles!
We also tested the new 2014 Honda CTX700, Honda’s ‘urban roadster’, as well as the Can-Am Spyder ST-S and the KTM 690 Duke. Want to know how our talented road testers thought of these models? Pick up the October/November issue of Inside Motorcycles.
Jordan Szoke extended his historic racing record with a ninth consecutive Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship, but the celebrations were overshadowed by the loss of John Ross MacRae and Christian Auger, two young, talented racers who lost their lives in separate racing incidents just two weeks apart. The show must go on, and CSBK racers and organizers rallied together to end the season in fine fashion. Read our extended coverage of the final rounds as well as features from the worlds of drag racing, mini road racing and flat track. There’s also a great photo spread from the Vintage Road Racing Association’s Quebec GP.
Techies will love our features from masters John Sharrard and Andrew Trevitt, while we take a break and enjoy some fun at the Northern Stars Rally and get a little dirty at Lawrence Hacking’s Overland Adventure Rally.
All this plus the usual suspects (our columnists) and more in the current issue of Inside Motorcycles! To subscribe online immediately, just click here and fill out the form or take a test ride and try two issues for free!
