Ricky Russell has won the 2026 Corduroy Enduro aboard his Kawasaki KX450, beating out Canada’s Tyler Medaglia and fellow US rider Tyler Vore.
In claiming victory, Ricky also put his name on the $10,000 contingency prize from Kawasaki, part of more than $40,000 in available contingency offered by Team Green at the 2026 event.
Russell’s win is just the second win for Kawasaki in the 75-year history of the event, and the first since Allan Lachappelle won on a KX250 in the year 2000.
Told of the stat, Russell said “That’s pretty cool!” before going on to thank the event organizers.
“It was a great trip up to Canada for my first experience of the Corduroy Enduro” said Russell.
“I had a blast all weekend and my KX450X was working awesome with such a wide variety of terrain this event had to offer. We may have been spoiled with the perfect conditions but I would love to make a return in the future to hopefully keep the Kawasaki up on top!”
The Corduroy Enduro is Canada’s largest off-road racing event, with over 700 entrants competing across two days of hard enduro riding. Team Green was well represented in this year’s event with riders in Pro, Expert, Women’s Pro, and Novice ranks.
The event is open to bikes like the KX450FX, KX250FX and the highly anticipated KX327X two-stroke. Find out more about the Team Green line-up of competition off-road motorcycles at Kawasaki.ca
