On the occasion of the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Motorcycle Association, held in Hamilton, Ont. on Dec. 12, Vice President Hugh Lim announced the following awards.
They are decided by the Board of Directors and formal presentations take place at an appropriate gathering at a later date.
AWARDS OF HONOUR
FULVIO CALLIMACI SUPPORTERS AWARD
(named in memory of a special supporter of CMA in Quebec and awarded to a person or group who has supported or promoted the CMA and motorcycling in an exceptional way)
JACQUES BELLEROSE OF STE-JULIE, QUE.
Jacques has a passion for dirt track and has worked very hard to reintroduce CMA events in Quebec beginning in 2012. He is a firm believer in the CMA programme and continues to look for new venues.
ANGELA WOJCIK / KEVIN WORRALL OF TORONTO, ONT.
Angela and Kevin are Chief Instructors for the CMA Rider Training Programme.
They put 100 percent plus into operating the programme every year and exceptionally so in 2013.
COMPETITION AWARDS
WHITE MEMORIAL TROPHY (established in 1954)
This is the Premier Competition Award of the CMA and is awarded annually to the most outstanding number one plate winner, as determined by the Board of Directors.

Jana not only made history as the first female winner of the White Memorial Trophy, but also the youngest at age 15.
BERT IRWIN MEMORIAL ISDE AWARD
Awarded to the rider having the best performance at the International Six Days Enduro.
TYLER MURRAY, ABBOTSFORD, B.C.
Tyler’s performance as a member of the Junior Trophy Team in Sardinia earned him the coveted Gold Medal and a “best Canadian” posting in the history books.
