First day in Doha, Qatar. The hotel we are staying in is pretty central, and the people are very nice. Dad and I got to walk around the area for a little bit of sightseeing on our day off.
The architecture here is really cool. We went around the bazzaar, coffee shops, along the Corniche walkway and to the Museum of Islamic Art.
We were down near an old fort and Dad spotted camels, so we went over for a photo (top).
It’s quite windy here. Pat (crew chief) arrives this evening and I’m on track tomorrow. The Losail Circuit where we are competing is about 45 minutes away. I’m ready to get on the bike.
