Amarok Racing is proud to present the P1A, Canada’s first electric racing motorcycle at the Halifax International Motorcycle Show from February 8-10 at the Cunard Centre.
The P1A prototype, designed and manufactured entirely in Canada, is a high performance electric racing motorcycle that marries proven aerospace monocoque technology to manufacture a vehicle that has paradigm breaking performance while dramatically reducing cost and enhancing the track riding experience.
Since making its public debut at the Toronto Motorcycle Show last December, the Amarok P1A has already won recognition and praise from a wide array of specialty press, and within the motorcycle community, as well as been reported on two national television networks.
The motorcycle was named the second best Canadian product design of 2012 by the Canadian Design Resource, while the Amarok company was short listed in the top 10 of the Innovacorp Nova Scotia clean tech business competition.
Track testing in the fall of 2012 revealed a motorcycle with great potential and solidified the company’s resolve to compete internationally in the prestigious TTXGP all electric motorcycle racing series throughout 2013.
The Halifax International Motorcycle Show opens Friday, February 8 at 4:00pm and runs until Sunday evening.
Founded in Lennoxville, Que. in 2010 with the purpose of designing and constructing a superior prototype, Amarok Racing is dedicated to becoming a leader in electric motorcycle racing and development by leveraging its team’s 15 years of experience gained working with some of the world’s top motorcycle manufacturers, and more than 30 years in racing vehicle mechanics.
Since 2011, the team has re-based to Nova Scotia but maintains technical development in the Eastern Townships.
