Cryderman in PBSS points lead going into Nitro Nationals

The next event on the 2013 Pro Bike & Sled schedule will be held during the Canadian Nitro Nationals, one of the biggest drag races in the country.

This race will be held July 12-14 on the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park. Along with this next PBSS event, the final round in the uncompleted previous PBSS race will also take place during the weekend at Cayuga.

The series is presented by Wiseco Performance Products.

With one win to his credit, Championship Point Award Series leader Dan Cryderman of Thamesville, Ontario, who qualified number one for the postponed event, will face off against number six qualifier Dave Vandereyken of Acton, Ontario. Both racers compete in the Pro Bike side with their Suzukis. Vandereyken is presently second in points.

IMG_0159Also with a victory to his credit this year is Pro Bike rider Ted Glinny of Milton, Ontario, who rode his Kawasaki to a win in the Martin, Michigan round and is presently third in PBSS Championship points. Fourth is Pro Bike rider Marty Kuiack, also of Milton, while the Pro Bike Suzuki entry of John Orfanidis of Toronto Ontario is fifth.

The Pro Bike & Sled Series, www.PBSS.ca, also competes with its two companion series, the Pro Modified Racing Association, www.PMRA.ca and the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, www.Quick32.ca providing fans and exciting and complete experience of drag racing action.

Qualifying rounds for all three series will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 12-13, with eliminations scheduled to take place July 14.

IMG_0152Along with these three drag racing series, the Canadian Nitro Nationals will feature nitromethane-burning Top Fuel Dragsters and Nitro Funny Cars, Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars, the NDRA Alcohol Funny Car Series, the NDRA Pro Doorslammer Series, the Outlaw 10.5 Association, racing in the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock Series, Jet Dragsters and Shockwave, a Peterbilt semi-truck powered by three jet engines.
