Cardo Systems, the global leader in wireless communication systems for powersports riders, today announced the launch of Cardo Trade-In, a new program that gives riders an easier way to upgrade to the latest Cardo technology, regardless of the communication system they ride with today.

Through Cardo Trade-In, riders can trade in eligible communication units from Cardo or competing brands, even if the unit is broken or no longer functioning, and receive up to $130 cash back with the purchase of a new Cardo PACKTALK. The program gives longtime Cardo users a simple path to upgrade while offering riders using another brand an added incentive to make the switch to PACKTALK.

“Riders rely on their communication systems every time they get on the bike, and we want to make it easier for more of them to experience what PACKTALK and mesh communication have to offer,” said Dan Emodi, Chief Marketing Officer. “With Cardo Trade-In, whether you’ve been riding with Cardo for years or use a communicator from another brand, your current device can help make upgrading to PACKTALK more accessible. It’s about giving more riders an easier path to our best communication technology and the experience that comes with it.”

HOW CARDO TRADE-IN WORKS

1. Choose Your PACKTALK: Select a new PACKTALK through Cardo and choose the “Buy with Trade-In” option. Enter the brand and model of your current communication unit to receive an estimated cash-back value.

2. Complete Your Purchase: Purchase the new PACKTALK at full price and receive a prepaid FedEx shipping label for your trade-in.

3. Send It In: Ship your old communication system to Cardo within 30 days.

4. Get Cash Back: Once the trade-in is received and verified, up to $130 is refunded directly to the original payment method.

Unlike trade-in programs limited to products from the same manufacturer, Cardo Trade-In is open to communication systems from other brands, giving more riders an opportunity to put their old comms toward a new PACKTALK. For riders new to Cardo, that means an added incentive to experience Cardo’s Dynamic Mesh Communication (DMC), natural voice operation and rider-focused connectivity.
