BMW Motorrad announced yesterday some updates to their 2013 lineup of motorcycles. Among the updates, BMW will now offer ABS as a standard option available on all of their 2013 models, while Dynamic and Touring packages have been added to the BMW F 800 R.
A company that provides itself on social responsibility and motorcycle safety, BMW Motorrad first introduced the Anti-Lock Braking (ABS) in 1988, and for 2013 BMW will be the first motorcycle manufacturer to offer ABS as a standard option on all of their motorcycles.
The BMW F 800 R model also experiences some upgrades with the addition of the Dynamic and Touring packages. The Dynamic package will offer a combination of options and accessories including an engine spoiler, LED rear light, LED turn indicators and pillion seat cover. The Touring package offers riders a more extensive package with heated grips, on-board computer, socket, luggage rack, pannier holder and centre stand.
Models are expected to be available in dealerships in August 2012, according to a press release from BMW Motorrad.
