Frontline CSBK announced the addition of another sponsor to the Canadian Superbike series today. Bazzaz will support the 2012 Canadian Superbike Amateur Championship, the class that was introduced in 2011 to compliment the feature Pro Superbike class.

“It’s great to have Bazzaz join us as an official class sponsor,” explained Frontline CSBK principal Kevin Graham.  “This agreement came about through racer and tuner input, and we want to do our best to listen to competitor needs and suggestions.  Many racers and teams have requested the option of using Bazzaz products in the Canadian series, so we have homologated the Z-FI QS fuel injection/quickshift units for this year’s CSBK Sport Bike classes and Z-FI TC fuel injection/quickshift/traction control units for our Superbike classes.”

Ammar Bazzaz, who heads up the U.S-based firm, is also excited about the opportunity. “We love motorcycle racing world-wide,” said Bazzaz.  “When the opportunity presented itself to join forces with CSBK on the Canadian National series, we knew we needed to jump on board. We know that the control systems we make at Bazzaz are a perfect fit for the Canadian National rule structure, plus we want to give back to the sport, specifically in Canada.  Our fuel, quick shift and traction control products are well received in Canada, and I want to thank Kevin for all he has done to make this deal a reality.  Everyone at Bazzaz can’t wait for the start of CSBK 2012 at Shannonville Motorsport Park on June 24.”

Bazzaz is distributed in Canada by Motovan, and the CSBK Amateur championship class will now be named the Bazzaz Amateur Superbike National Championship. The series kicks off June 24 at Shannonville Motorsports Park near Belleville, Ontario.
