Nürburgring Race Two: Davies Take Debut Win, McCormick Out In Smoke
Reigning World Supersport support series champ Chaz Davies gave his ParkinGO MTC Racing Aprilia RSV4 squad a great debut Superbike win in race two of the eni Superbike World Championship round at the Nürburgring in Germany. Part of the lead dispute throughout 20 laps of the 5.137 km long German ‘ring, Davies was the only front runner to hold his pace, pulling way for an eventual three second victory.

Qualifying Round One: Checa On Top as Brett Moves Up at Nürburgring
Brett McCormick continued his education at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany this afternoon, placing his Team Effenbert Liberty Racing Ducati 1098R 22ndoverall in the opening qualifying session for Sunday’s eni Superbike World Championship doubleheader. McCormick carved more than a second and a half from his previous best lap in his second ever session at the ‘ring. The 2011 Canadian Superbike champ turned 14 laps of the long venue to record a best time of 1:59.712.

Liberty Racing - Trouble in Paradise?
The Effenbert-Liberty Racing Team, always proud to tout its family-like team camaraderie, showed a significant fracture today with uncertain consequences. In yet another vaguely translated press release, the Czech-owned, Italian-based team has announced that several crew members have defected from the team just days before this weekend's Czech Republic Grand Prix at the Brno Circuit.

Injury Update on McCormick
Brett McCormick will spend the night under observation in the local Assen hospital following his crash in race two of today’s eni Superbike World Championship round at Assen. The reigning Canadian Superbike number one plate holder was involved in an incident mid-race with Althea Ducati rider Carlos Checa and tumbled across the run off in turn 12, getting hit along the way by his own Ducati 1098R. McCormick was in 11th position at the time, while World Champ Checa was a lap down, having pitted to change to dry tires in the changeable conditions.

Assen Race One - Updated Final Report
French born, UK-based Effenbert Liberty Ducati racer Sylvain Guintoli gave the squad their first victory in the restarted opening race at round three of the eni Superbike World Series at Assen in the Netherlands. After a dry initial run, the restart took place in treacherously wet and rainy conditions, and Guintoli pushed through the pack to take the lead with just over two laps to go.

McCormick To Start 13th on Sunday!
Brett McCormick will start from 13th on the grid, the pole spot on row four, for tomorrow’s pair of races in round three of the eni Superbike World Championship at the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. The Saskatoon-born rider was as high as eighth on the rankings early in SuperPole action, but a change in conditions caught the Effenbert Liberty Racing Team crew by surprise and they didn’t get McCormick out in time to benefit from a soft rear tire near the end of the opening session.

McCormick Improves Qualifying Position, Will Start 22nd
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan’s Brett McCormick will start form the 22nd position on the grid in his series debut at tomorrow’s second round of the 2012 Eni Superbike World Championship series at Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari di Imola inImola, Italy. In today’s early morning final qualifying session, The Effenbert Liberty Racing Team Ducati 1098R rider improved by almost a second and a half over his best previous lap time, turning in a quickest tour at 1:50.266.
