Since the first Ride For Dad in Ottawa in the year 2000, over $9 million dollars has been raised nationally for research and to raise awareness of this prevalent but preventable disease. At the 2013 Ride Kick-off in Edmonton a giant cheque for $102,950 was accepted by Dr. John Lewis on behalf of the Cross Cancer Institute.
