DONINGTON PARK, GB - Following the morning's wet Free Practice, Qualifying 1 for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship at Donington Park saw improving conditions on Friday afternoon that led to a nearly full dry situation towards the end of the session. Atlantic Roadracing League Recognizes Supporters and Announces New Partnerships
Halifax, NS – The Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) has continued its tradition with Honda Canada and Pro Cycle this year as they help support the High Performance Riding Academies. For 2013 ARL has found some additional partners who are supporting the support not only by their assistance with helping riders compete, but also partnering with ARL to sponsor Classes as well as different aspects of the events taking place at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie. ARL partners with Easter Seals Nova Scotia for 2013
HALIFAX, NS – The Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) has had a great start to the 2013 season with some testing events and our annual High Performance Riding Academy in conjunction with Honda Canada and Pro Cycle. Early June we will conduct our second annual Women's High Performance Riding Academy and regional race events starting on June 14th. The Motorcycle Ride For Dad is a nation-wide fundraiser to fight Prostate Cancer.
Since the first Ride For Dad in Ottawa in the year 2000, over $9 million dollars has been raised nationally for research and to raise awareness of this prevalent but preventable disease. At the 2013 Ride Kick-off in Edmonton a giant cheque for $102,950 was accepted by Dr. John Lewis on behalf of the Cross Cancer Institute. The cheque represented the money raised by the Ride For Dad in Edmonton and Rural Alberta in 2012. Read more

200 Female Riders to Decsend on Kananaskis, AB for 'Women Riding into the Future' conference and ride
"Women Riding into the Future" is the theme of a weekend of motorcycle riding, workshops, shopping and socializing that 200 female riders will participate in at the Stoney Nakoda Casino and Resort in Kananaskis, 45 minutes west of Calgary on the weekend of August 16 through 18. The event will also include a trade show, show and shine, plus there will be manufacturers there with motorcycles to test ride. Read more

Jordan Szoke chalks up his first win of the season
SHANNONVILLE, ON - Jordan Szoke shook down his new BMWS1000RR's at the RACE Round One regional event this weekend held at the Shannonville Motorsport 1.5 mile "Pro Track" located just east of Belleville Ontario Canada. Pedrosa wins dramatic French Grand Prix
Dani Pedrosa became the first rider to win two races in the 2013 MotoGP™ season, coming from sixth position on the grid in mixed conditions at Le Mans on Sunday. He now leads the championship from Repsol Honda Team partner Marc Marquez, who fought to the podium after a poor start as Britain’s Cal Crutchlow finished second. Read more

Marquez takes second career pole in France
Marc Marquez collected a second MotoGP™ pole position for this weekend’s Monster Energy Grand Prix de France. The championship leader beat current title holder Jorge Lorenzo by just three hundredths of a second on Saturday as Andrea Dovizioso celebrated his first front row for Ducati Team. Crutchlow responds to speculation on future
MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow has refused to speculate on his future, while the Le Mans paddock at this weekend’s French Grand Prix is rife with talk that the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 rider could be replaced in the team next year.
